Five business days
A substantive reply from a person, not an automated acknowledgement. If something needs longer, you get a note inside the five days saying so and giving a date.
Thirty days
The period Australian Privacy Principles 12 and 13 allow for access and correction. Identity checking happens inside that window rather than being added to the end of it. A refusal arrives with written reasons, the ground relied on, and how to complain about it.
Security reports
There is no bug bounty and no money. What there is: an answer, a fix where a fix is ours to make, and public credit if you want it. A good faith report will never be treated as hostile or as a breach of the terms of use.
If we do not satisfy you
Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992. No fee, no lawyer needed and no permission from us. The Commissioner will normally expect you to have given us 30 days first.
